Casas Colgadas

One of the attractions of Cuenca are the "Casas Colgadas" (Hanging Houses). A type of building that was once common (during the 15th century). You can see everyone around taking pictures of them, myself included. That night I had dinner in one of them. An excellent dinner in very good company :). That's when I finally got why some very rich and powerful people, centuries ago, would consider this as one of their residences: it's the view and feel outside and inside. It's one of those things you have to be there to figure it out.

Going crazy...

Sometimes waiting, with nothing to do, can make you notice any small silly detail. Here is one of those times. Looking back it also makes you think that patience grows with experience. After this one I have made flights six times longer on a regular basis. I started asking for coach seats and never got the plastic glass again like that. Back then I would never guess I would have so much patience now. You just keep learning.
