This one was taken a long time ago. So long, I just remember some details. It was one of those days that some details were just screaming "take me a picture". In this case, it was a gray winter rainy windy day and some of the flowers were spread over the street due to the wind. This particular angle caught my attention and, after resisting some seconds to what was already the inevitable, here is the photo. Finding details sometimes is just being more receptive to the flood of things that try to catch our attention.

One of the attractions of Cuenca are the "Casas Colgadas" (Hanging Houses). A type of building that was once common (during the 15th century). You can see everyone around taking pictures of them, myself included. That night I had dinner in one of them. An excellent dinner in very good company :). That's when I finally got why some very rich and powerful people, centuries ago, would consider this as one of their residences: it's the view and feel outside and inside. It's one of those things you have to be there to figure it out.

Sometimes waiting, with nothing to do, can make you notice any small silly detail. Here is one of those times. Looking back it also makes you think that patience grows with experience. After this one I have made flights six times longer on a regular basis. I started asking for coach seats and never got the plastic glass again like that. Back then I would never guess I would have so much patience now. You just keep learning.

There are moments that are simple special to the photographer. This is one of them. It's the right place, the right time and the right message for me. But do keep in mind, when trying to interpret, that a picture is worth a thousand words. And the picture is part of a moment that is worth millons of words.

The year is 2009; the place is Porto; the motive is Red Bull Racing. During breaks they had this airplane (and others) doing low-flying passes. But what caught my attention, in this particular case, was imagining how it should have looked like a few decades ago.

This one was captured during last year's vacations. A very calm and nice walk with friends by the end of the day. The tide was actually rising and closing in, but that didn't rush us. The only problem would by the camera. But opportunity was enough to go to the end and return :)

Everyone stopped to watch the sunset. And so did I. It's one of the most repeated photographed events and there is a reason for that :) This one makes me remember the end of three very enjoyable hours walking, cycling, taking pictures and enjoying all by myself.
